Synstone Contempo is our line of smooth exterior concrete panels manufactured with Synstone's proprietary formula, the ultimate in lightweight concrete cladding. Synstone Contempo panels allow designers to make a simple transition from design to reality. Synstone has revolutionized the cementitious cladding industry with the availability of custom colours, panel sizes and shapes. Architects have a product at their disposal which allows their visions to be realized. Synstone Contempo cladding can give buildings a new aesthetic appeal by reclaiming concrete in modern wall design.

There are 3 standard finishes available:

• Smooth-U (completely smooth)
• Smooth-L (smooth with a light sandblast)
• Smooth-M (smooth with a heavy sandblast).

Sculptured shapes allow for creative architectural design while exhibiting seamless transitions from wall to wall of both exterior and interior systems.

The lightweight panels can be installed using light equipment, while they are not considered as load carrying components, Synstone Contempo glass fibre reinforced concrete cladding panels will resist wind and snow loads including their own seismic loads.

• Our largest standard panel size is 5’0” (1524mm) x 10’0” (3048mm)
• All Contempo panels are manufactured in 3/8" (9.5mm) and 1/2"(13mm) thicknesses unless otherwise requested

Panel Joints

• Joints between panels should be no less than 1/4". and can be caulked, left open, or have a metal trim
